Kane Architecture and Urban Design is a design oriented practice that is focused on the craft of design and construction. We work collaboratively in close partnerships with our clients to find designs appropriate to their needs. We bring a strong understanding of real estate, architecture and construction process, which allow us and lead a project from start to finish.
Design Director Ted Kane has over 19 years of experience on internationally recognized and award winning projects and is Professional Licensed in New York and California. Ted is involved throughout the design and construction process, and takes personal responsibility for the successful completion of every project. Ted has a particular interest in sustainable design and passive house principals, he is a US Green Building Council LEED certified professional.
Our firm has expertise in new buildings, additions, commercial storefront and residential renovations. We can successfully navigate the approval process within the New York City zoning, Department of Buildings, and Landmarks Commission.
