the PROJECT INVOLVED RENOVATION OF AN EXISTING 2 STORY BRICK TOWNHOUSE IN A STATE OF DISREPAIR WHEN PURCHASED BY OUR CLIENT IN 2016. oUR DESIGN INCLUDED THE STRUCTURAL RESTORATION AND REPLACEMENT OF THE BRICK FACADE, FLOOR AND ROOF STRUCTURE AND THE RECONFIGURATION OF THE INTERIORS THROUGHOUT. bECAUSE THE SMALL 19FT X 34FT FOOTPRINT OF THE BUILDING COULD NOT BE EXPANDED DUE TO CURRENT ZONING RESTRICTION WE SOUGHT to MAXIMIZE THE USE OF THE SPACE BY REMOVING ALL INTERIOR WALLS TO CREATE A CONTINUOUS KITCHEN, DINING AND LIVING AREA AT THE ENTRY LEVEL. TO FURTHER OPEN THE SPACE WE INTEGRATED nEW GLASS DOORS AT THE REAR OF THE SPACE TO OPEN THE HOUSE TO THE GARDEN AND REMOVED THE EXISTING DROPPED CEILING TO MAXIMIZE THE CEILING HEIGHTS. aT THE CENTER OF THE HOUSE A new stair was introduced with a ROOFTOP skylight to bring ADDITIONAL NATURAL LIGHT DEEP INTO THE INTERIORS INCLUDING THE cellar WHICH WAS RE-finished to create a recreation space and half bath. all new electrical, gas and water AND HVAC services were installed THROUGHOUT.
